Jamar Laster

Jamar Laster serves as the Chairman of the Board for The Red & Black Publishing Co. and is a Manager of Content & Channels at Cox Enterprises. With extensive experience in editorial leadership, Laster was previously the Content Director at Emerald and the Executive Editor of Impressions magazine at Emerald Expositions, where responsibilities included developing a B2B content strategy and managing a team of editorial contributors. Laster also held positions such as Founding Editor of SportsFan Retailer magazine and Managing Editor at Nielsen Business Media. Early career roles included Editor in Chief of Men's Edge Magazine and Associate Editor for multiple publications. Laster earned a degree in Magazine Journalism with a minor in English from The University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
