Guillermo L.

Guillermo L. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management within the rail industry. Currently serving as Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Coxabengoa since June 2022, Guillermo previously held the position of Principal Project Manager at AMEY CONSULTANCY LIMITED, where oversight of a team managing an £86M budget for the Wales and Borders project was a key responsibility. Prior to this, Guillermo worked at Abengoa as Senior Project Manager for the Greater West electrification programme, managing a £300M project. Guillermo's career began at VIMAC S.A. as an OLE Construction Manager and also includes a role at FCC as Project Manager, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality throughout various rail projects. Educational qualifications include dual MEng degrees in Industrial Organisation and Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
