Rob Freeman is a seasoned professional in government relations and public strategies with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as Principal at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies since September 2010, Freeman previously held the position of Director of Government Relations at Sher & Blackwell LLP from January 2005 to August 2010. Freeman's early career includes notable roles such as Deputy Staff Director and Senior Professional Staff for the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation from 1999 to 2004, as well as Administrative Director for Congressman Ed Whitfield from 1995 to 1999. Freeman also contributed to political campaigns, notably serving as Campaign Manager for Ed Whitfield for Congress and volunteering for John McCain in 2008. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Freeman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Industrial Administration. Additionally, Freeman served as an Officer in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1993.
