Evan Clabots

Evan Clabots has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Evan is currently the Vice President of Product Development and Innovation at Cozey, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, Evan founded their own design company, Evan Clabots Design, in September 2014 where they served as the Creative Director and Brand Strategist.

In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Evan has also worked as a Council Member at GLG, starting in September 2021. In this role, they were selected as an industry expert in E-commerce, Design, and Sourcing, providing advice to clients, including private equity and hedge funds, on sourcing, product development, and consumer trends.

Evan has also served as a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute since August 2015, further sharing their expertise and knowledge in design. Before that, they held the position of VP, Product and Merchandising at Burrow from March 2019 to May 2021.

During their career, Evan has gained valuable experience in leadership positions as the Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at OTHR from June 2015 to September 2017, as well as the SVP of Product Design at Fab.com from April 2013 to July 2014.

Evan's earlier work experience includes founding their own design studio, Nonlinear Studio, in February 2010, where they served as the Founder and Principal. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Designer at Dror from June 2004 to February 2010.

Evan Clabots completed a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in Industrial and Product Design. This took place from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, in 2003 and 2004, Clabots pursued further studies in Furniture Design at TAIK in Helsinki, Finland.
