Lorena Christensen

Lorena Christensen is an experienced professional with a strong background in student recruitment, employer relations, and international program development. Currently serving as the Co-lead for the Student Recruitment and Market Relevance Workstream at CPA Canada, Lorena utilizes research and inclusion best practices to address the needs of aspiring accounting students. In the role of Director of Student Recruitment and Employer Relations at CPA British Columbia, Lorena leads initiatives to increase the supply of Chartered Professional Accountants in the province, enhancing brand awareness among diverse market segments. Prior experiences include directing international programs at Mitacs Inc., where Lorena successfully managed large-scale projects and collaborated with various stakeholders. Earlier roles at Western Forest Products and Powerwood Corp. Inc. involved account management and project coordination, showcasing a diverse skill set in sales, operations, and logistics.
