Mark Ceisel

Mark Ceisel has worked in the tech industry since 1994. Mark began as a Maintenance Technician 3 at Motorola, where they were responsible for the repair, set-up, programming, calibrating, modification, computer support, and operation of various Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines. Mark then moved on to Prototype Equipment Company as a Field Service Engineer, followed by Nycomed Amersham as an Instrument Technician, where they designed, modified, and repaired computer-controlled automation equipment used in conjunction with making radioactive pharmaceuticals. After that, they worked as a System Support Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, providing end-to-end support for software, computers and LANs for an engineering company. Mark then worked as a Software Developer and IT Consultant at Nuestra Casa International, Inc., designing, developing and maintaining Java-based software used to perform pagination and layout of a magazine. Following this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions, where they worked directly with customers to identify and prioritize features required for their products. Mark then moved on to Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer, developing Chef recipes for Intel Wearable cloud backend and implementing Jenkins continuous integration of backend services and AWS deployment. Mark is currently employed at cPacket Networks as a Sr System SW Engineer and System Engineer.

Mark Ceisel received a BS in Computer Science from Portland State University between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they received an AS in Electronics Technology from Harper College.
