Charles Boyd has a diverse work experience in software development and research. Charles started at Google Summer of Code in 2010 as a Software Developer, where they ported an open-source mesh network routing protocol to Android and created a proof-of-concept application for ad-hoc wireless mesh networks on mobile devices. In 2011, Charles worked as a Research Assistant and Software Developer at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they ported PARI/GP to Android and developed the Paridroid application, an interface for a computer algebra system. Charles also maintained this open-source project as a volunteer. Charles then served as a Release Manager at Macualay2 from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they are a Systems Software Developer at cPanel since 2012.
Charles Boyd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
