Cleland Early

Cleland Early's work experience begins in 1990 at Petroleum Information Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and programming database applications using object-oriented Lisp. Cleland also developed object classes and created system documentation and marketing brochures. In 1992, Cleland joined Kaetron Software Corporation as a Programmer/Writer, working on various projects and writing user manuals. From 1995 to 1997, they worked at Perceptive Scientific Instruments, Inc. as a Software Engineer, leading the design and development of the Stagehand project, a motorized microscope stage control and image management program. In 1997, Cleland started working at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center as a Senior Database Administrator, progressively advancing to the role of Sr Database Administrator. Cleland led a team responsible for the maintenance and administration of various systems and applications, and also developed custom applications using Java. In 2009, Cleland pursued freelance work as a Software Developer, taking on projects involving web development and integration using PHP and C#. Finally, in 2012, they joined cPanel as a UI Developer.

Cleland Early completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English at The University of Texas at Austin from 1971 to 1975. Cleland then pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in English and Comparative Literature from the same university, spanning from 1975 to 1978. Later, they attended the University of Houston and achieved a Master of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems during the period of 1983 to 1984.
