Stephane Barbeau

Stephane Barbeau is an independent energy consultant with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on market design, unbundling, tariff studies, and transaction advisory work. They have worked as a Senior Energy Specialist at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and have contributed to various power sector reforms in Africa and Asia. Currently, Stephane is involved in consulting projects in Senegal, Algeria, and South Africa, while also serving as a Principal Consultant and Desk Leader for power sector reform at CPCS. They hold a Master of Business Administration in Energy Management from BI Norwegian Business School.
