Abhilash Desu

Abhilash Desu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy and environmental sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Target Analyst at the Science Based Targets initiative since May 2022, Abhilash previously held roles as a Target Analyst at UNFCCC and a Research Assistant at MicroEnergy International, where responsibilities included GHG mitigation analysis and techno-economic assessments of renewable energy projects. Abhilash's career began as a Graduate Engineer at Vijay Nirman Company Private Limited. Academically, Abhilash holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Global Change Management from Fachhochschule Eberswalde and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Management from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, alongside a Post Graduate Diploma in Transmission and Distribution Systems and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
