Associate Director, Sustainable Supply Chains at CDP

Laura Hohmann has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Laura is currently working at CDP as an Associate Director, Sustainable Supply Chains, where they manage the integration and delivery of CDP's sustainable supply chain program for member companies. Prior to this role, they were a Manager and an Account Manager in the same department. In these roles, Laura was responsible for managing supplier engagement metrics and developing processes to track progress on renewable energy, science-based targets, water reduction goals, and forest-preservation commitments. Laura also expanded membership and drove climate action through targeted outreach. Before joining CDP, Laura worked as a Sustainable Finance & Development Fellow at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, a Research Assistant at the Center on Global Energy Policy, and a Consultant at the Kenya Red Cross. Laura also had research and teaching experience at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. Laura's skills include data analysis, report generation, content creation, and project management.

Laura Hohmann's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies and Business Administration, with a certificate in Sustainable Development, obtained from the University of Duisburg-Essen. Laura also completed a certificate program in Education for Sustainable Development at the University of Bremen in 2018. In 2019, Laura pursued a Master's degree in Sustainability Economics and Management at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, which is still ongoing. Additionally, they obtained a Master's degree at The Earth Institute from Columbia University in 2020, specializing in Climate Science and Policy as part of the Master’s in Climate and Society program. Laura also holds certifications in International Relations and Intercultural Training from Universität Duisburg-Essen and Education for Sustainable Development from the University of Bremen and University of Duisburg-Essen. Laura has a Study Abroad experience at Fort Hays State University, where they received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Academic Achievements. Laura's additional certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications was obtained through World Education Services.
