Michael Hugman

Michael Hugman has extensive experience in finance and economics, currently serving as a Trustee at CDP since December 2020 and as Director of Climate Finance at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) since September 2020. Previously, Michael was a Portfolio Manager at Ninety One from October 2014 to September 2020, and an Economist at AMIYA CAPITAL LLP between December 2009 and August 2014. Michael began the career as a Strategist at Standard Bank from September 2007 to December 2009. Educational achievements include a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics from the University of Oxford (2003-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the same institution (2000-2003).
