Darnell Billups

Darnell Billups is currently the Vice President of People and Culture at CPG, where they lead initiatives focused on safety culture and workforce development across multiple regions. Previously, they served as Director of Program Management for the Tennessee Department of Education, where they successfully oversaw a $7 billion software conversion project for 149 school districts. Darnell has also contributed to the U.S. Marine Corps in various leadership roles, including Director of Training and Development. They are an active member of the SME National Capital Area Chapter, having founded the chapter and grown membership significantly in a year. Darnell is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
