Paul Cassidy has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Paul started their career at Johnson Matthey Davy Technologies in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Process Engineer. In this role, they specialized in syngas, butanediol, and natural detergent alcohol technologies. Paul contributed significantly to the development of these technologies and helped turn them into market leaders.
In 2009, Paul Cassidy was promoted to Ester Hydrogenation Technology Manager at Johnson Matthey Davy Technologies. Paul led the technology offering for butanediol, fatty alcohols, and biodiesel technologies. Paul'sresponsibilities included new plant licensing, process development, and support of plant commissioning. Under their leadership, the company won projects for numerous plants and introduced new features to the technologies.
In 2013, Paul Cassidy moved to Johnson Matthey, where they became the Methanol Technology Manager. In this role, they led the methanol technology team and was responsible for all technology aspects of the methanol business area. Paul'sresponsibilities included executing the engineering strategy, developing the technology roadmap, and providing technical support to the company's licensees and catalyst customers.
In 2023, Paul Cassidy joined Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) as the Chief Technical Officer.
Paul Cassidy attended the University of Cambridge from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering.
