Scott leads the Portfolio Recruiting practice at CPI. With 25+ years’ experience as a high-profile employment lawyer, senior operating executive, and corporate advisor, he brings an extensive network of professional relationships across major industry verticals, including professional sports, technology, professional services, and media/entertainment. Scott’s expertise is guiding employment-related change and identifying, recruiting, and onboarding a diverse roster of executive talent.

Prior to joining CPI, Scott founded the executive search firm Pivot Management Partners. He also served as a founder, investor, and senior operating executive at multiple venture-funded start-ups. For these portfolio businesses, he built Human Resource infrastructures and led the search, recruitment and hiring process for the C-Suite.

Scott graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He was a four-year varsity letter winner and Captain of the Harvard Men’s Basketball team. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Catholic University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Scott is an active member of the Harvard alumni community, sitting on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Alumni Association and serving as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Club of New York City.
