Laird Pitz

Laird J. Pitz is an experienced executive in risk management, currently serving as Vice President & Chief Risk Officer at Canadian Pacific Railway since March 2014. Previously, Pitz held the position of Vice President - Risk Mitigation at CN from September 2003 to March 2012. Other notable roles include Consultant at PRI (1999 - September 2003), General Manager at Elk River (1997 - 1999), and President & CEO at both Ocean Bay Inc (February 1992 - December 1996) and Alexis International (September 1989 - February 1992). Early in Laird Pitz's career, leadership was demonstrated as Director of Assets Protection at Burlington Northern (1986 - 1989) and Whittaker Corporation (February 1980 - 1986).
