Steve Barron

Steve Barron, a Chartered Accountant, currently serves as the Director of Internal Controls at Canadian Pacific since April 2021, where responsibilities include leading the SOX 404 program, overseeing risk assessments, and collaborating with control owners on process changes. Previously, in the role of Senior Manager of Internal Controls, Steve executed SOX 404 program planning and compliance engagements at MNP from September 2010 to April 2021, focusing on public companies' internal control evaluations and risk assessments. Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
