Tim Whiteley

Tim Whiteley has extensive experience in the fragrance and non-food development industry, currently serving as the Global R&D Director at CPL Aromas Ltd since December 1999. Previously, Tim held the position of Head of Non-Food Development at Safeway for a brief period in 1999, and served as Technical Director at Yardley of London from September 1994 to March 1999. Tim's career began at Bush Boake Allen, where responsibilities included working as a Fragrance Applications Chemist/Manager from January 1983 to September 1994. Additionally, Tim began a research career as a Graduate Research Technician at Birkbeck College, University of London, focusing on diet's effect on myelin composition related to Multiple Sclerosis. Tim earned a B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham between 1977 and 1980, after completing secondary education at Bingley Grammar School.
