Megan Daniels is an experienced engineer and researcher with a strong background in computational meteorology and fieldwork. At Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from May 2014 to February 2016, Megan collaborated with a team on the development of vertical grid nesting code for the Weather Research and Forecasting model, focusing on multi-scale modeling and wind energy applications. Currently, Megan is employed at CPP Wind Engineering Consultants since May 2019. Prior to this, from June 2010 to June 2012, Megan worked at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne as a post-doctoral researcher, where fieldwork involved deploying and maintaining weather measurement instruments in alpine environments and developing methods for flux calculations. Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University-Long Beach, a Master’s Degree, and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.
