Ben Woodward is a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service since January 2020, having previously served as a Crown Prosecutor. Prior to this role, Ben worked as a Solicitor at Sills & Betteridge Solicitors LLP from May 2018 to January 2020, focusing on family law, including divorce, children’s matters, and domestic violence. Ben started as a Trainee Solicitor at Sills & Betteridge and previously completed a training contract at Wilkin Chapman LLP, where experience included family law, private client, personal injury, and agriculture. Ben began a career at the Care Quality Commission as a Subject Matter Expert/Officer from May 2009 to August 2016 and held an administration position at MLM Distribution Limited. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Northumbria University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Newcastle University.
