Bev Stait

Bev Stait is a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service since August 2025, specializing in prosecuting various criminal offences. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Solicitor and Manager at Manchester City Council, leading a team in the largest Child Care shared legal service in the UK, and handling complex child protection cases. Bev has also worked as a Family Intervention Worker and Neighbourhood Co-Ordinator at Tameside Council, gaining critical insights into social work. Additional roles include business ownership in pet care, as well as legal advisory positions at the General Medical Council and other law firms. Educational qualifications include multiple higher rights of advocacy certifications and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
