Catherine Jeanes

Catherine Jeanes is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service since November 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing case management and temporary District Crown Prosecutor duties in the Oxon/Bucks area. Prior to this, Catherine held various roles within the CPS, including International Liaison Advisor for Asset Recovery and a series of paralegal positions that involved direct courtroom responsibilities and case progression management. Catherine's earlier experience includes an internship at Texas Defender Service and voluntary human rights work in Senegal. Catherine holds a Bar Professional Training Course degree from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Birmingham, specializing in Law with French Law and Language.
