Helen Newbold

Helen Newbold is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service since May 2022. With a strong background in law, Helen worked as a Barrister at Smith Bowyer Clarke Road Transport Lawyers from September 2017 to April 2022 and completed a Pupil Barrister role there. Prior experience includes a position as a Paralegal at Bond Dickinson LLP from July 2016 to August 2017 and various management roles at Plymouth Primary Care from 2003 to 2011, overseeing data management and training. Helen's career began in law enforcement as a Police Constable with Wiltshire Constabulary from 1991 to 1994. Helen holds a First Class LLB (Hons) from the University of Plymouth and completed the Bar Professional Training Course at the University of Law in Bloomsbury.
