James Francis

James Francis is a highly experienced legal professional with a focus on prosecution and asset recovery. Currently serving as a District Crown Prosecutor in the Trials Unit at Crown Prosecution Service since October 2017, James has previously held the position of Senior Crown Prosecutor at ICAEW and has extensive experience as a District Crown Prosecutor managing Proceeds of Crime litigation across one-third of the United Kingdom. James's legal career began at Glaisyers Solicitors in Birmingham, where a varied criminal law practice was established from June 2004 to December 2008. Academically, James holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the West of England, a Bar Vocational Course qualification, and has completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test.
