Sam Ormiston

Sam Ormiston is an experienced press officer currently serving at the Crown Prosecution Service since October 2025. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at the Daily Express, including Deputy Features Editor and Assistant News Editor, and worked at MyLondon as Acting Head of Content and Content Editor, among other roles. With a strong foundation in journalism from the University of Stirling where a Ba (Hons) in Journalism Studies, Politics, and Spanish was earned, Sam's career began as a Multimedia Reporter at Newsquest, and includes notable positions at Brig Newspaper and The Bolton News. Sam also completed NCTJ training and contributed as a writer for The Manc Group, showcasing a diverse skill set in both news and feature writing.
