Siobhan Russell

Siobhan Russell is a Deputy District Crown Prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service, having joined the organization on secondment in November 2022 before securing a permanent role in February 2023. Previously, Siobhan served as a Senior Crown Prosecutor and Solicitor, completing various placements including the Magistrates’ Court Unit and the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences team. Siobhan undertook a four-month secondment to Birmingham Children's Trust for Child Protection work in 2021. Prior roles include positions as a Regulatory Paralegal at Shoosmiths, a trainee solicitor, and work placements in criminal defense and barrister chambers. Siobhan's educational background includes a Master of Laws from The University of Law and a Bachelor of Laws from Birmingham City University.
