David Wright

David Wright currently serves as the Chair of the Health Professions Discipline Tribunals since March 2023 and has held various leadership roles at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, including Chair of the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal. Past experience includes serving as the Chair of the Law Society Tribunal and as a member of social justice tribunals in Ontario. Additionally, David Wright has held positions within the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario as Associate Chair, Interim Chair, and Vice-chair. A legal career commenced at Green and Chercover as a lawyer, following a law clerk position at the Supreme Court of Canada. David Wright holds a Master of Laws from New York University and an LL.B./B.C.L. from McGill University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Windsor.
