Rachel Bernstein

Rachel Bernstein, JD, currently serves as a Senior Policy Analyst at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario since April 2016, where responsibilities include policy development and review, as well as delivering presentations to support decision-making. Previously, Rachel held the role of Senior Decisions Writer, drafting over 500 decisions for the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee. Concurrently, Rachel worked as a Decisions Writer for the Ontario College of Pharmacists and served as a Freelance Legal Blog Writer for Umbrella Legal Marketing. Earlier experience includes a position as Lead Legal Writer at Carswell, and as an Associate Lawyer at Blaney McMurtry LLP. Rachel began professional training as an Articling Student at Niman Zemans Gelgoot LLP. Rachel holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University.
