Richard Bowry serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs, Research and Education at North York General Hospital since July 2012, where additional roles include Anaesthesiologist, Chief of Anaesthesia, and Vice Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee. In addition, Richard is a Committee Member of the Premises Inspection Committee at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario since January 2024 and holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Toronto since July 2012. Previous experience includes working as a Medical Consultant with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and various roles at St. Michael's Hospital related to anesthesiology and patient flow performance. Richard earned an MB BS in Medicine from the University of London between 1989 and 1994.
