Patrick B. Pexton is an accomplished news executive with extensive experience in journalism, editing, and policy coverage. Currently serving as the Editor of the CQCyber newsletter at CQ - Roll Call, Inc. since January 2018, Pexton focuses on the intersection of advanced technologies and government policy. Previous roles include Defense and foreign policy editor at CQ Roll Call, Editor-in-Chief of The Frederick News-Post, and Ombudsman for The Washington Post, where Pexton was the final ombudsman in the newspaper's history. Pexton's career also includes significant positions at National Journal and Army Times Publishing Company.
