Alan Walsh

Alan Walsh has extensive work experience in compliance roles. Alan'smost recent position is as the Head of Compliance at CQS since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Schonfeld as a Senior Compliance Officer from January 2023 to July 2023, and as a Compliance Officer from September 2021 to January 2023. Alan also worked at Partners Capital, where they held various roles in compliance, including Principal, Senior Associate, and Associate, from December 2017 to September 2021. Before that, they were a Compliance Officer at Deutsche Bank from April 2016 to March 2017, a Compliance Officer & Private Client Associate at deVere USA from May 2015 to December 2015, and a Trainee Financial Consultant at Maxim Group from February 2015 to May 2015. Alan also has experience as a Paralegal at Lyons Dermody Solicitors from July 2014 to November 2014, a Sales Advisor at HUGO BOSS from May 2014 to July 2014, a Model/Sales Assistant at Abercrombie & Fitch from September 2012 to January 2014, and as a Summer Legal Intern at Arthur Cox in June 2012.

Alan Walsh completed their high school education at St. Michael's College in Listowel, Co. Kerry from 2003 to 2008. Alan then attended Brookfield College from 2008 to 2009 for their high school degree in the general field of study. Alan went on to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law and French at Trinity College, Dublin, between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in French Law from Université Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV from 2011 to 2012.
