Ismail Bashir

Ismail Bashir currently serves as a Responsible Investment Specialist and Client Communications & Responsible Investment Analyst at Manulife | CQS Investment Management since March 2023. Prior to this role, Ismail worked in Global RevOps at Two, a Sequoia-backed FinTech startup, focusing on commercial strategy and data analysis from January 2022 to March 2023. Ismail's earlier experience includes an internship in fixed income and distressed debt at CQS in 2021 and founding Big Shak's Burgers, a FoodTech startup, from September 2020 to August 2021. Additional experience includes a tenure as an Athlete at Nike Store and as Vice President of Financial Services and Markets at the LSE SU Business and Finance Guild. Ismail holds a Master of Science in Political Theory and a BSc in Government and History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
