Ian Ashby

Ian Ashby is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and materials handling. Currently serving as a Project Manager for Strategic Projects and Technical Manager for Global Contracts at CR Powered by Epiroc since December 2019, Ian's previous roles include Senior Engineer at CQMS - Razer, and Senior Mechanical Engineer positions at Sedgman Limited and SEMF. Earlier career experiences encompass mechanical engineering services at BlueScope Steel and research activities at BHP Steel. Ian holds a Master of Engineering in Steel Processing and Products from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tasmania.
