Lainy Painter

Lainy Painter is currently the Principal at Craft Ventures. Prior to this, they were a Venture Investor at Battery Ventures from January 2016 to December 2018. Lainy has also worked in Business Operations at Gainsight from January 2016 to December 2017.

Before their work in venture capital, Lainy was a Post-Baccalaureate Fellow at the Boehly Center for Excellence in Finance in the Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary from January 2014 to December 2014. Prior to their fellowship, Lainy worked as a Technology Investment Banker in Goldman Sach's Technology Media Telecom Group from January 2013 to December 2016. Before Goldman Sachs, Lainy was a Federal Financial Analyst at IBM from January 2012 to December 2012.
