Chris Larson has worked in a variety of roles since 1990. Chris began their career as a Geologist and Project Manager for Braun Intertec Corporation, where they directed data collection, analyzed results, and prepared recommendations pertaining to the environmental condition of commercial property. In 1993, they joined URS as a Staff Geologist and Project Team Leader, conducting investigations and remediation of soil and groundwater contamination. In 1999, they were a Finance Intern for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. From 2001 to 2007, they worked at Tektronix as a New Product Development Manager and Product Marketing Manager, responsible for growing revenue and profitability of a $20 million portfolio of complex telecommunication test products sold worldwide. In 2007, they founded Larson Ventures, a consulting firm to help innovators develop, articulate, fund, and grow their new ventures. Chris also worked as a Senior Engagement Manager for Growthink, providing services to a wide variety of entrepreneurs and executives. In 2018, they became the Vice President of Innovation and Evaluation for Craft3.
Chris Larson obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Carleton College in 1989, followed by an MBA from the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business in 2000, where they studied Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.
