Michael Scherer

Michael Scherer has had a varied career in the design industry. Michael began as a Business Analyst for their own company, Scherer Design, in 2002. Michael then moved to Austria to become a University Instructor for New Design University in the same year. In 2013, Michael became an Industrial Designer and Partner for 1 Ultimate System, LLC, where they conceptualized and developed a high-end health and nutrition prototype. In 2015, Michael joined NRG Energy/Reliant as a Senior Product Development Manager, where they were responsible for spearheading the development, design and production of components for mobile device power solutions. Most recently, in 2020, Michael became a Co-Founder of CraftStrom.

Michael Scherer received a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in Industrial and Product Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2002, having studied there from 1998. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in general MBA from the Technical University of Vienna in Austria.
