Jim Heid, FASLA, is a seasoned professional in real estate development, currently serving as the Founder of Building Small: The Network, which fosters connections among real estate entrepreneurs. As the Founder of CRAFT DnA since 2017, Jim specializes in small, incremental development aimed at community enhancement. Additionally, Jim authored "Building Small," released in 2021, which has become a valuable resource for real estate professionals and educational programs. As the Founder and OG of the Small Scale Developer Forum, Jim facilitates networking and knowledge sharing among small developers. Other ventures include CraftWork, a coworking hub in Healdsburg, CA, and UrbanGreen Inc., a consultancy focused on sustainable solutions for the built environment. Jim's past roles include COO and Managing Principal at EDAW and Principal at Design Workshop.
