Dan Peres

Dan Peres is a media and marketing leader with high-impact editorial experience and a record of creative ingenuity in brand positioning, customer acquisition and audience development. He joined Ad Age in July 2020 as Editor-in-chief and was promoted to Associate Publisher of the brand in October 2021 and then President of Ad Age in June 2022. His oversight includes editorial operations, sales, marketing, and events for the brand.

The former Editor-in-chief of Details magazine, Dan has the proven ability to build award-winning editorial franchises while also developing profitable advertiser- and sponsor-friendly programming and digital brand extensions. Over 15 years at the helm of Details, Dan turned a struggling men’s magazine into an omnichannel powerhouse – the No. 1 player in the men’s luxury fashion space with a fast-growing digital platform. He was named by MIN magazine as one of its 21 Most Intriguing People and was one of Business of Fashion’s Most Influential People in 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Dan launched his own strategic consulting practice focused on delivering brand, marketing, content and social media strategies for emerging and established brands.

Dan earned a BA in Journalism at New York University and began his career as an Editor at W magazine and Women’s Wear Daily. Later, after Condé Nast bought the magazines, he became European Editor of W.
