Ali Gowans specializes in developing senior executives' behavioral skills in support of effective leadership. Focusing on developing confidence, communication impact, and the ability to motivate and inspire teams and individuals while using powerful strategies to build relationships, reputation, and results. Ali coaches within diverse industries across the globe, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, CIT, Wellington Underwriting, Bridgepoint Private Equity, British Growth Fund (BGF), Kholer, British Telecom, Xerox, Danone, and major Global Airlines: BA, Delta, United, Emirates, and Etihad.
Prior to joining CRA, Ali worked as part of a dynamic L&D team within British Airways, and in the early ’90s, designed and delivered a transformational change program across the airline having played a pivotal role in persuading BA Board members to invest £7m in support of BA as the pioneering airline of flatbeds within the industry. As a lead facilitator, Ali gained, and still has, a reputation for working successfully under pressure, particularly with those exhibiting cynical mindsets towards growth and change.
From a military family, Ali grew up in the UK, Germany, and Australia before making London her home base. In her free time, Ali enjoys travel, catching up with friends, musical theater, and great restaurants, and has recently taken up the ukulele.
