Andy Byrnes is an experienced safety training consultant and instructor with a career spanning over two decades. Since January 2000, Andy has been dedicated to Wasatch Safety Training and Consulting LLC, offering specialized training in hazardous materials, hazmat safety, fire safety, and first aid, while providing valuable consulting services to private industries and emergency response organizations. In addition to current roles at L2 Defense, Inc. and the All Hazards Training Center at The University of Findlay, where new courses in confined space rescue and hazardous materials technician are being designed, Andy serves as faculty at Utah Valley University, directing the Firefighter Recruit Candidate Academy. Contributions as a subject matter expert to various publishers such as IFSTA and Delmar involve textbook reviews and content creation across critical emergency response subjects. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Services Management from Utah Valley University.
