John Wright

Deputy Chair at CRANAplus

John Wright is currently the Deputy Chair at CRANAplus. Prior to this, they were with Tennant Creek Hospital, and before that, they were with Remote Primary Health Care Manuals. John has also previously worked as a Primary Health Care Manager at Hermannsburg Health Centre from June 2006 to August 2010, and as an Emergency Nurse and Team Leader on the night shift at Alice Springs Hospital from July 2005 to June 2006. John started their career in remote health as a Remote Area Nurse at Oodnadatta Hospital and Health Services from March 2003 to June 2005. John has also served as the Administrative Director at the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia from January 2002 to December 2005, and as Treasurer at the South Australian Emergency Nurses Association from January 1998 to December 2002.

John Wright has a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Flinders University, and a Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. John also has a Master of Remote Health Practice - Nurse Practitioner from Flinders University and a Master of Remote Health Management from Flinders University. In addition, they have a Graduate Certificate in Health (Emergency Nursing) from Flinders University and a Year 12 SA Certificate of Education from Port Lincoln High School. John is also certified by the ACCCN as an Advanced Life Support Instructor.
