Derek Schmidt, P.E.

Derek Schmidt, P.E. has been the Mechanical Engineering Lead at Crane Engineering since June 2015, overseeing the mechanical and process engineering team for the OptiFlow systems group. Prior to this, Derek worked as a Process Engineer at Nexus Technical Services Corporation (now Jensen Hughes) from January 2012 to May 2015. Derek holds a MS in Nuclear Engineering Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Derek also earned their BS in the same field.
