Matthew Yates

Matthew Yates has extensive work experience in the security field. Matthew currently holds the position of Security Operations Lead at Crane Company. Previously, they worked as a Security Operations Lead at Dechert LLP. Prior to that, they served as a Security Engineer, specializing in Detection & Response, at Campbell Soup Company. Before transitioning to the private sector, Matthew worked as a Security Engineer at Cooper University Health Care. Matthew also has experience as a Manager in Electronic Systems Repair during their service in the United States Marine Corps.

Matthew Yates has a diverse education history. Matthew completed their Associate's Degree in General Studies at Northern Virginia Community College from 2003 to 2005. Later, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Law & Justice from Rowan University in 2008. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems at Rowan University from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they attended Penn State University and obtained a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems Security. Additionally, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Information Sciences specializing in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Penn State University.
