Mitchell Murchison has extensive work experience in the engineering and design industry. Mitchell is currently a Vice President at Cranston Engineering, where they also serve as the Municipal & Transportation Design Group Manager and Project Manager. Prior to this, Mitchell worked as a Project Engineer at the same company. Mitchell has been with Cranston Engineering since 2006. Additionally, Mitchell has held positions as the Choir Director at Centenary United Methodist Church from 2003-2006 and as the Worship Director at Glisson Camp & Retreat Center from 2002-2004.

Mitchell Murchison graduated from Mercer University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Mitchell then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 2011 to 2013, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Mitchell Murchison has obtained several certifications. Mitchell became a Professional Engineer in Georgia in January 2011, certified by the Georgia Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors. Mitchell also achieved Level II Certified Design Professional status from the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission in October 2007. Furthermore, they hold a Professional Engineer designation from the South Carolina Board of Engineers & Surveyors, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
