Chris Thomson

Chris Thomson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the food and dairy sectors. As the Managing Director at Cranstons Butcher + Maker since June 2024, Chris leads the company to enhance its market presence. Previously, Chris served as SVP and Managing Director at Saputo Inc. since July 2019, overseeing growth and operational integration of acquired businesses, with full accountability for revenue and management of 250 employees. Chris also held the position of CPO and Group Procurement Director within the same organization, contributing to strategic development across the UK division. Prior roles include CPO at Dairy Crest, where Chris was responsible for sourcing and supply chain management, and leadership roles at State of Flux and H.J. Heinz Company, focusing on procurement and supplier management. Chris holds a BSc Hons in Management from The University of Manchester.
