John Spicer

John Spicer is an experienced engineering professional with a demonstrated track record in leadership and technical architecture. Currently serving as the Engineering Lead at Crate since April 2021, John has significantly contributed to the company’s success, including securing millions in funding and being selected for AWS' inaugural Generative AI Accelerator. Prior to this role, John held positions at EDITED as a Technical Architect and Senior Software Engineer, as well as at Citi as an Associate Vice President and Application Developer. John holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Durham University.
