Craven Arts is an artist-led charity and creative hub based at Craven Arts House, a restored Victorian school building in North Yorkshire.

We are a catalyst for creativity, providing affordable studio and gallery space, cultural learning opportunities, and a welcoming place for our community to connect.

Founded in 2015 by a collective of local artists and established as a registered charity in 2017, Craven Arts supports artists who might not otherwise have access to creative facilities. Since moving into Craven Arts House in 2023, we have grown into a vibrant community arts facility, offering exhibitions, studio hire, and creative education for people across the Craven district and beyond.

Our work is rooted in our core values of creativity, community, and integrity, and is funded through charitable activities and grant support from trusts and foundations.
