David Carrano

David Carrano's work experience is as follows:

- In 2021, they joined Crayon as an Engineering role.

- From 2019 to 2021, they worked at EveryAction as an Engineering Manager.

- Between 2017 and 2019, they served as a Senior Platform Engineer at Blue State Digital.

- Their longest tenure was at Oracle, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2017. In this role, they developed and maintained the Oracle Application Cache and integrated Coherence Managed Servers into WLS for the Platform as a Service effort.

- In 2006, they worked at Tangosol as an IT Manager, where they implemented and maintained a SSO portal, a new SSL-based calendaring/email/VPN system, and streamlined the process for software/hardware procurement.

- David Carrano worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at O'Reilly Media, Inc. from 2000 to 2006. Their responsibilities included managing the move to a new data center, administering network infrastructure, and developing automation scripts.

- From 1999 to 2000, they served as a Computer Specialist at the U.S. Census Bureau, where they were responsible for system administration and network management.

- At Revelation Technology, David Carrano worked as a Principle Deployment Engineer from 1997 to 1999. David certified the Revelation NLM network product for Novell Netware 5.0, developed QA test applications, mentored new tech support employees, and maintained test networks. David also worked as a Technical Support Analyst during the same time period, setting up and maintaining the test network for tech support and QA.

David Carrano attended St. Lawrence University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. During their time at the university, they studied Chemistry and Computer Science.
