Geoff Barnett

Geoff Barnett has over a decade of experience in the technology industry, specializing in cloud architecture and infrastructure. Geoff is currently the Director of Google Cloud Services at Crayon, where they oversee the company's global offerings and supports subsidiaries in delivering Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace services. Prior to this, Geoff held various roles at Crayon, including Director of Cloud Strategy and Tech Lead & Principle Architect, where they provided technical leadership and guidance across all services departments.

Before joining Crayon, Geoff worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at Orange Business Services, where they supported pre-sale activities and delivered cloud advisory services for multinational clients. Geoff also worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at Avega Group AB, where they assisted clients with public cloud migration, big data analytics, and IoT services.

Geoff has also gained experience at Accenture, HCL Technologies, CGI, Domestic & General, Foreign & Commonwealth Office Services, EDF Energy, and The Home Office, where they held various technical and leadership roles focused on cloud solutions and infrastructure. Throughout their career, Geoff has demonstrated expertise in working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as developing and implementing cloud strategies for a range of industries.

Geoff Barnett attended Staffordshire University from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Internet Technology. Prior to that, they attended John Cabot CTC from 1993 to 2000, but the field of study and degree obtained are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Geoff has obtained various certifications from reputable institutions such as Google Cloud, HashiCorp, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft.
