Katrin Strasser

Katrin Strasser is an experienced professional in the field of language technologies and natural language processing. Currently serving as Head of Language Technologies at Crayon since December 2021, Katrin previously held multiple roles at Cloudflight from July 2016 to November 2021, including Natural Language Processing Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed team leadership, project management, data analysis, machine learning, and semantic search. Earlier experience includes positions as a Data Scientist focused on data analysis and predictive analytics, as well as software development roles at Onyx Technologie and Metaio. Katrin holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and a Bachelor of Science in MultiMedia Technology from Fachhochschule Salzburg.
